An Amazing Number Trick!

Here is a trick to amaze your friends and fellows.

  

Tell a friend to get a calculator and do these calculations:

Ø  Enter a number between 11 and 77.

Ø  Multiply by 3.

Ø  Add 9.

Ø  Multiply by 3.

Ø  Add the first number taken.

Ø  Then tell your friend to write down the final number.

Now, you are going to amaze your friend by telling him the first number that he has not told you.

This is how:

Take the first two numbers in the final number and subtract 2 from it.

Let’s have an example:

Take 50, for instance (between 11 and 77).

Multiply by 3 -> (50x3=150)

Add 9 -> (150+9=159)

Multiply by 3 -> (159x3=477)

Add the first number taken -> (477+50=527)

Now, take the first two numbers in the final number and subtract 2 from it.

527 > 52 – 2 = 50 (the first number)
