Digging out anyone’s age

Age Revelation Trick - 1

First of all pick the number of days a week that you would like to eat out. Now,
  1. Multiply this number by 2.
  2. Add 5
  3. Multiply it by 50.
If you have already had your birthday this year . . . add 1764
If you have NOT had your birthday yet this year . . . add 1763

Subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should now have a three digit number:

The first digit of this was your original number (i.e. how many times you want to go out to eat each week).

The second two digits are your age!!!

You can also amaze your friends or fellows by asking them to pick a number between 1 and 10 and then follow the whole process.

2014 is the only year it will ever work, so spread the fun while it lasts...
However, for perpetual rule...
Add 1765 instead of 1764 for 2015, 1766 for 2016 and so on…if you have already had your birthday that year

And, if you have NOT had your birthday yet that year, add 1764 instead of 1763 for 2015 and 1765 for 2016 and so on…

Age Revelation Trick - 2

Here is a simple method of telling someone their age, the trick is not difficult to do or solve but it's quick and good fun!
  1. Hand the punter a calculator (or pen & paper).
  2. Mentally estimate their age but don't tell them.
  3. Ask them to enter their age into the calculator (without you seeing of course).
  4. Tell them that "as there are 12 months in the year, add 12 to their age".
  5. Say that "as there are 7 days in a week, and 52 weeks in a year, add 752 to the number already in the calculator".
  6. Ask them to tell you the last digit.
  7. All you do is subtract 4 from this number and that is the last digit of their age.
  8. If the number they tell you is less than 4, just add 10 before you subtract the 4 (e.g. they say 3, you add 10 then take 3 = 9).
  9. You have already estimated their age so just knowing the exact last digit is usually enough to accurately be able to tell them their age.
e.g. you think they look 25.

Their sum is 23+12+752=787, they tell you 7, you take off 4 which is 3, you mentally adjust their age down to 23 (i.e. they will not look either 13 or 33 so must be 23)

Age Revelation Trick - 3

Here's a sneaky way to find out someone's age
  • Ask the person to multiply the first number of the age by 5. (If <10, ex 5, consider it as 05. If it is >100, ex: 102, then take 10 as the first digit, 2 as the second one).
  • Tell them to add 3 to the result.
  • Now tell them to double this figure.
  • Finally, have the person add the second number of his or her age to the figure and have them tell you the answer.
  • Deduct 6 and you will have their age.

Age Revelation Trick - 4

  • Multiply your age by 7.
  • Now multiply that product by 1443
What do you get? Your age repeats 3 times.

Watch this: 28 (age) x 7 = 196.

196 x 1443 = 282828!

Actually, what you're doing is multiplying your age by 10101. Your age will repeat 4 times if you multiply it by 1010101.

What if you're aged 9 and younger? Does this still work? Well....sort of. You get 90909, or really, 090909. To really enjoy this, though, it helps to be 10 and older.

Age Revelation Trick - 5

This one is a slight variation of Trick - 4.
  • Tell someone to secretly input their age into a calculator and multiply it by 3367.
  • Now, tell them to multiply it by 3.
  • Next, tell them to write down their answer on a piece of paper and to clear all the information on the calculator so far.
  • Now, use that number on the piece of paper and divide it by 10101.
RESULT: The person's age!

The reason this trick works because 10101 is equal to 3367*3. And multiplying any two-digit number by 10101 is the same as writing it three times (e.g. 282828). Thus, when a number is multiplied by 3367, then by 3, it is really being multiplied by 10101. And of course, when you divide it by 10101 at the end of the trick, you get your original number, in this case your age.
